Here's a challenge for using osx, linux, or bsd: try a passage using ed(1), the classic line-oriented editor.

1. Write each sentence on a separate line.
2. Add a blank line between paragraphs.
3. Don't try to go back and edit previous lines.

Let's see how far you can go. :)
