Not only do I have swashbuckling soprano catgirls, but I also got transatlantic maglevs and magic swords.
@starbreaker
What editor?
@eladhen AFAIK joe doesn't use the fribidi library, so you're probably right. But that's never been an issue for me since I only write in English.
@eladhen Have you seen MinEd? It claims to handle both Unicode and RTL.
@starbreaker
I'll check it out. I usually just use a graphic text editor. They all support #rtl without a problem.
@starbreaker
Well, it isn't in the Ubuntu 18.04 repos...
@eladhen Is that a problem?
@starbreaker
I can check later how I can install it, but generally, yeah, I try to stick to the repos as much as possible.
@eladhen I followed the instructions on http://towo.net/mined/download.html. It worked fine on OpenBSD. It should also work on Ubuntu as long as you run "apt-get install build-essential" first.
@starbreaker
Yep, just checked. No #rtl sadly. I can run it inside mlterm or inside #emacs to get their rtl support I guess...
