my father has this enormous ego that makes him think "I am the GOAT".
sometimes me and mom need to pull him to the ground and say: "humm... no".
but this enormous ego runs in the family (yes, me), but I point my own mistakes

Mom is watching Masterchef Argentina). I'm just bored (but not because of the show, it's because I'm bored hahah)

but what we're really waiting for is not EXACTLY celebrate Tiradentes... but not waking up early to work 😉

about tomorrow's holiday in Brazil:

April 21st we remember the life of Tiradentes, one of the leaders of an attempted revolution whose goal was freeing Brazil from Portugal in the 18th century. The guy was murdered by the government (the only one who suffered this fate) because he was the "poorest" one. Being a dentist (sort of) in 18th century wasn't being exactly poor, but the other members were rich farmers and gold mines owners, so...

back home after holiday (without crazy stuff from my relatives). despite some rainy days, Saturday was quite beautiful octodon.social/media/giY2Prt24

sorry for the rant. I promise to be calmer in the next toots

Give me a break! There's 365 catholic churches in Salvador (I don't need to talk about the evangelical churches, not even their influence in politics); tomorrow's holiday has christian origins... I'm tired of this bullshit

I tried to say (not only me, but a bunch of friends) that Christians don't suffer religious harrasment in Brazil. Afro-brazilian religions suffer harrasment. A lot. I don't need to say the reason. But they think Candomblé is protected more by the government than Christians.

seriously, I just lost all my patience with her and my cousins. I already argued with them (my cousins) on Facebook because of their beliefs. They think Evolutionism is bullshit. They think Christians suffer religious harrasment in Brazil. IN. FREAKING. BRAZIL

I enjoy this Netflix feature - watching movies offline. I'll spend my holiday in a beautiful place... with crap internet connection... and when my radical Christian aunt begins to say something horrendous, I'll be watching happily some action flicks and the 4th season of Sherlock

seriously, best sport ever - soccer. :soccer: Unpredictable, crazy, unbelievable

:flag_gb: Disgraceful scenes in São Paulo. Man, I love Libertadores.

:flag_br: Sim, eu amo futebol e acompanho os jogos de todos os times, não apenas o meu

:flag_gb: Yep, I love soccer, and I watch all teams' matches, not just the one I cheer

:flag_br: Parabéns, Palmeiras, empatando com o Peñarol em casa. Difícil torcer.

:flag_gb: Congrats, Palmeiras, tying with Peñarol at home. It's hard to cheer

: "Mar Morto", by Jorge Amado ("Sea of Death")
It's the relationship of fishermen with the sea and Candomblé goddess Iemanjá, the queen of the ocean. During the book, there are many stories about their lives, struggles and mysteries involving Iemanja's power. BTW, I strongly recommend going to Salvador in February 2nd, to attend Iemanja's celebration. It's powerful and vibrant.

i wonder how many kids became plumbers because of super mario bros

*finally understanding how crazy, curious and beautiful is the fediverse*

:flag_gb: For the first time I'm writing without reviewing what I did the day before. I'll begin to review the text in the right time
