@Auditoryprolif chicago is a great city if you know where to look! What are you learning recently?
mastodon is Good bc I get 500 characters to yell into the void but I can put it under a break so I don't feel like I'm annoying my folloers
@Afroblue yay masotodon! I hope autistic people don't feel threatened or uncomfortable on octodon.social or cybre.space. I follow a lot of autistic people on these and I think they contribute greatly to their respective instances
So many things that I want to see in Mastodon... so few things I know I'm gonna get...
* !groups
* instance whitelist mode for users/groups
* better theming
* at least some plugin support
* finer-grained instance interaction control (mute things from timeline vs users from there can't @ etc)
* better controls over message scope
* instance-only messages
* maybe some federated blocklist stuff? Iffy on this one...
* less js shit in the UI/make it at least work in static HTML mode
a Mastodon skeleton*
a Mastodon was found that may change when scientists think humans first got to north america but I thought the article was how a social media website was "rewriting human history"
