How many users have multiple accounts spread around the fediverse. How do you keep track of what's what? And how do you follow/converse with your connections?
@Patrickme I actually wanted to open a different account (or more) but the logistics overwhelmed me and I decided I would stay here.

I imagine from one stand point it would be as easy as logging in to more than one web site. Following/followers, etc might be more complex. I'm not looking to do this necessarily, just musing about why others have - especially with seemingly active accounts.
@Patrickme yes sometimes I forget who I am following on different instances but mastodon works in such a way that you may see new posts from someone you follow from another instance. But at most you would only see a few of the same toots. It's interesting to explore different instances though
@spaceman I barely have enough time to keep up with this one. I'm sure there might be a "better" fit out there for me, but I landed here.
@Patrickme that's perfect then! I mostly go off my main instance when I can't find any new posts or I'm too lazy to dig. If you can barely keep up you have all the content you need!
