"The Third Principle of Sentient life is the capacity for self-sacrifice, the conscious ability to override evolution and self-preservation for a cause, a friend, a loved one."
I always wondered what the other principles of sentient life were.
Fortunately for us, I am not the only person on the internet to imagine the idea of teacup dinosaurs.
Glad that didn't work!

Is an Octodon what Sleipnir would have been had the Norse warriors existed a few tens of thousands of years earlier and used tamed Mammoths as mounts?
Cuz I can totally see Odin riding an eight legged mastodon into battle, Gungnir gleaming in his hand as his Valkyries ride flying mammoths to retrieve the souls of dead cave man type Norse warriors.
Ghost: Year Zero is considered the best Ghost intro, but I prefer Square Hammer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Mbxe33BYW8
Something bad going down in central Stockholm. Truck on fire inside a department store :(
Public radio reporting that it was "not an accident". Truck apparently ran into crowd. Police suspect further attacks may be coming. If you have the option, please stay away. Keep safe.
As far as Dishonored 2 goes, I'll also say I like the added diversity.
In Dishonored 1 women existed, but they were either nobles, maids, or prostitutes. In Dishonored 2 there's just some women around in the streets and buildings doing stuff. Including some older women. I'll call that a win.
Well, an hour or so in I'm enjoying Dishonored 2. Not entirely fond of the new art style, I really liked the sort of watercolor-esque style of Dishonored 1. But overall it's fun.
Sneaking, thieving, not being seen, and making huge piles of unconscious guards never really gets old.
Tonight I dive into the first mission of Dishonored 2, I decided to try playing as Emily since I'd been Corvo back in Dishonored 1.
Low chaos, high stealth, here's to seeing if I can make it to the end of the mission without killing anyone or being spotted.
Number of times a judicial nominee was filibustered from 1949 - 2009? 68
Number of times Republicans filibustered Obama's judicial nominees before Reid nuked the filibuster for them? 79
Number of times Dems filibustered before McConnell nuked the filibuster? One

Well, here we go!
The Democrats did not fold, they sustained their filibuster. So now the nuclear vote is coming.
I **REALLY** want them to revoke unanimous consent and force a never ending stream of procedural votes on every tiny little thing, just to be obnoxious.
So silver lining time: we're going to be stuck with Gorsuch, but we get rid of the very bad 51 votes for Republican ideas, 61 votes for Democratic ideas double standard!
I'm not sure I can cope with a microblog supporting 500 characters, Twitter may have permanently harmed my thinking....
