Odd to think that limits I placed on myself actually allowed for more freedom.
I really love this art project. I'm engaging in something that it took me far too long to realize. Thinking back on so many other failed projects.
The ones that succeed versus the ones that failed, it always came down to how narrow my subject was. The more focused I was on a particular subject/object, the more creative my mind allows me to be.
It may vary from person to person but for me at least, having a tight focus, forces me to think more critically and to express myself more uniquely.
@skintobone Quite a lovely slice of green. Love it.
@alice @TheShyIon I'll be Zarya if Ion will be Moira. ;)

Just some dumb thoughts in my brain. I'm enjoying all of the social and political commentary that David Cage has brought to us with this game.
It's definitely not perfect and there are some problems with this story/future he's envisioned, but I am loving how it provokes so much discussion.
It's a separate question as to whether we SHOULD design androids to appear human like. I understand the whole uncanny valley comes into play.
But if we've gone all in on having them appear life-like, then there should be more diversity of body shape, gender, representation. Not just this idealized thing model that we see so often in these futures.
There's a whole host of issues at play here, so I'm just spitballing, feel free to join in and share your ideas/thoughts.
NL made a comment that was basically, “I'd buy a chubby android servant/assistant.”
He said this with a bit of tongue in cheek humor but it's interesting to consider.
Why not design our AI servants/assistants/workers with more diversity?
Was watching the Northernlion Detroit: Become Human stream/play-through. And he remarked on something that people often avoid confronting.
This future world where androids exist, all the androids have one very specific body type. Everyone is thin in a very specific way.
Assuming we continue to push towards this future, if we're wanting true simulation. Why wouldn't we design/build androids to appear like humans actually appear?
@anthracite Indeed. A 45 minute run ruined AFTER I won in the last 3 seconds. Right at the crying Isaac cut-scene.
Ah well, easy come, easy go. Another run, another day. It's a game I've sunk 150+ hours into.
I was 4 seconds away from jumping into the golden chest and winning with Lazarus and fucking Binding of Isaac crashed on my Switch. God damnit?!?!
