@KyokiKafuka I've been hesitant to purchase this game up. Is it as fun as so many people make it out to be? I've heard that multiplayer is a mixed back and not always the greatest? Would love your thoughts.
@sonicbooming Really, it’s about as atypical of a team-based shooter as it can get. It represents a design philosophy that puts less emphasis on customization and balancing player-types and more on variation and speed. I’ve always had a great time playing both games. The community is one of the best out there. I’d recommend it.
@sonicbooming @KyokiKafuka I wanna jump in here and say that #Splatoon and #Splatoon2 are two of the most amazing games out of #Nintendo in recent history. Don’t hesitate a moment longer!! Get the games!! :D
@sonicbooming Assuming you haven’t played the first game (or owned a Wii U), the multiplayer isn’t as robust as other team-based shooters. It’s designed to be easy to get into and fast paced. Turf war is the standard mode of the game but gets stale quickly once you gotten the hang of the game. The ranked and league battles is where it gets more fast-paced, more varied, and more engaging since you’re playing against very dedicated players a grand deal of the time.
