Someone needs to hire me to just write about video games. All these posts I've made on the subject. I love doing it, but I'd also love to get paid. Hmm, maybe I should seek something out.

Anyways, here's another post on the rise of PubG and 'Battle Royale' shooters.

@sonicbooming hell of a pile of links to take to a video game site, at least...

@anthracite Oh that's for damn sure, I should probably get my own damn blog at this point, sure some people feel that way. ;-)

@sonicbooming thb I think your MeFi posts are one of my major sources of Gaming News at this point; I kinda dropped out of that general news cycle somewhere around the close of the PS2 era.

@anthracite To be honest, there's a fair bit that happens in that community that I feel is worth talking about, so its why I keep posting. It's interesting to discuss, loot boxes, or Battlefront II, or racism in gaming or whatever, there's always something to examine in a critical way.

@sonicbooming yeah, it's usually a lot more interesting than "BigCo announced yet another installment in Popular Franchise" which always feels like a whole lot of what passes for Gaming News.

@anthracite I try to avoid that with my posts and curate some interesting links about a subject that is of interest. :)

@anthracite If I look at the tag itself, I've made 148 posts with that tag.

@sonicbooming Maybe write on spec like John Harris? He's getting paid through a Storybundle thing for his "Somebody Set Us Up The ROM" hack/patch series.

@rickward Yeah, the thing is, most of what I've been doing is more link collecting, curating.

I might look at managing social media for some gaming related thing, as I think that's more my bag.

But a good suggestion.
