Work was stressful today. So I'll be playing Stardew Valley and drinking tea until bed time. #SELFCARE

@magpie I'm on my first year, about to hit Winter. I'm not focusing on social/partnering just yet. I want to invest in my farm for a little while and then I'll start to look at that aspect of the game. I'm loving the hell out of it. It's so simple and it works so well. Just the right balance of RPG and sim/farming.
@sonicbooming yes, it doesn't do anything revolutionary, just streamlines and perfects things other games have done.
i am taking things nice and slow on my Switch playthrough. i played about 5 years worth on the PC and unlocked most stuff, so i am enjoying myself and relaxing this time around. getting to be friends with some people i didn't talk to much last time i played. it's wonderful
@magpie I also love that you can basically play anyway you like. I'm finding Breath of the Wild also has that feeling. It just opens up the game and leaves things up to you.
@sonicbooming yes!!! there are always some alternate way to get things you need if you aren't a good farmer/fighter/rancher/fisherman
