Dearest Rocket League:
I know I'm not a brilliant player or anything, but I have played for over 115 hours. Matchmaking me with 5 rookies was novel, but I'm not sure it was wise.
@selfnoise I love that you've played for 115 hours. I need to get back into Rocket League, I miss how much fun that was.
But I also get anxious in online games, so unless it's local, I'm unlikely to make that a go to game for me.
@sonicbooming I recommend turning off all chat. I did that about 70 hours ago and it really helps. You'll only notice it's online from the dumb usernames! It's not a game where you need chat at all.
Also, if it's helpful, I've noticed that the average player skill in casual matches has actually decreased over the last few months. I'm not sure if it's an influx of players over the summer or some kind of matchmaking change but I don't feel like everyone is insanely good.
@selfnoise And yeah, I do turn off voice chat for most eveyrthing online cuz fuck online gamers and all that grief.
