imagine if computers could only be powered by computation itself rather than energy, and there was huge international teams trying to build a self-sustaining computer that produced more useful information than was fed into it
@jk ... and there were dirty computers that generated poisonous waste as a by-product of their computations, but everyone had grown dependent on them for all their clouding around, CGI and essential game playing.
