Mastodon needs a quality "vim or emacs" shouting match.
@golero "My dog barks, some. Mentally you picture my dog, but I have not told you the type o' dog which I have. Perhaps you might even picture Toto... from "The Wizard of Oz." But I can tell you, my dog is all ways with me. ARF!"
I use Vim
@skroo Boringly, I appreciate and use both tools for different things, so I'm no help there
@nathanic Bah you probably use tabs AND spaces too.
@skroo Ha, but no, I have to draw the line somewhere. Always spaces, but with good editors that make them feel like tabs. (Well, except for assy formats like Makefile that require hard tabs.)
@skroo Emacs for me. God damn spacemacs is just everything I wanted.
@skroo *ahem* VIM! :-D
@skroo i just saw a shatner Vs Patrick Stewart on about to start
@skroo We can start one: Vim! Only because it's installed by default on most distros, I'm not a programmer, and I know how to use it. All you emacs users have to actually install it before you use it, so inefficient.
