Just had a guy come on the same OpenArena server where I was playing with three bots (two after he joined). He asks "duel?" then about a minute later "or 1v1 ca". When I'm clearly happy honing my skills against bots after getting creamed earlier in the evening/morning. When I respond "I'm happy playing here" he responds "fag" and quits.

Radio broadcasting. I spent four years in college broadcasting on the radio and it was something I deeply enjoyed. Sharing music, connecting with listeners (such that we had for 1,000 watts of bursting college FM. You could even hear is in Borculo), and just spending time in a studio exploring music. Absolutely magical time, and I hope that while the medium has become a commercial hellscape of inoffensive music that radio can once again become dangerous and unpredictable.

That’s because that is where the batteries went. It ran on four plain old rechargeable AA batteries. So when the batteries finally couldn’t hold a charge anymore, you didn’t have to throw the whole gadget away; you just popped out the old batteries, popped in four fresh ones, and off you went.
