lordy, dropbox is spectacularly bad at serving up large files via http. trying to download the indiegogo'd movie i mentioned last night. i'm on attempt #5. and since they uniquify the url you actually download from, chrome can't resume after the download breaks/times out.

@skquinn 3.8gb. closest i've gotten is 3.2gb, but the others all died before they cracked 1gb.
@rascalking That's nuttier than an all-you-can-eat buffet for squirrels. There is no way I would expect a 3.8GB download over HTTP to finish on the first try.
@skquinn i'm lucky enough to live in fios-land. usually the gating factor for downloads for me is the remote server.
@rascalking Well I wish you good luck. I still think it's crazy on the part of Dropbox to break resuming of incomplete downloads though.
