PSA: Despite monkeypox being neither sexually transmitted nor particularly confined to the LGBTQ population, the media is attempting to forge a strong link in your mind between 'monkeypox' and 'promiscuous LGBTQ people' so that when the govt's lack of planning and poor infection control strategy causes your child to catch monkeypox at school, and underfunding of the health service causes it to be a more severe health problem than it should have been, you'll blame LGBTQ people (possibly even getting you to think an LGBTQ person has sexually abused your child), instead of taking the government to task for yet another pandemic fuckup.
Do pay attention to what they're playing at.
