Remember to flag your NSFW text content by clicking the "CW" button in the compose toot box, and flag your NSFW image content by making sure the eye icon to the left of "CW" button has a strike through it (screenshot attached)
Also, please keep your avatars and header images SFW until we can figure out a way to prevent people who don't/shouldn't see them from potentially seeing them.
If you see someone not doing this, please let them know!
@j OK but what’s the definition of NSFW? Is nudity alone NSFW?
@ErisMartinet Hmm yeah I didn't define it very well.. I think the main issue is accidentally exposing adult content to minors. We'll get back to you on that but maybe go with if you won't see it in a M-rated movie then it's probably too much?
@j @ErisMartinet Can I suggest that NSFW = not safe for work, and if your average boss at your average office job would be unhappy seeing the content in question on their employee's computer, then mark it as such? All of your users can have "Always show media marked as sensitive" checked in preferences. Maybe by default? IDK, I've never seen mastodon's admin interface.
@sharp @j Gee that's difficult. I've never been in conventional work. I once held an office job: I did marketing for a porn producing house. 😆
