Force-feeding Breakfast Bun because he's not eating enough and we gotta keep his digestion moving. He is the only bunny I've met who can spit things out.

Also, improvement in Mastodon over Twitter is that it doesn't matter that my timeline is slow. The federated timeline has plenty of content and it encourages just jumping on in and saying hi. It's harder to find like-minded people on Twitter; once upon a time, we INVENTED hashtags for that.

Am rereading Guy Gavriel Kay's THE LIONS OF AL-RASSAN. Forgot Ammar's relentless bisexuality and how obviously, TEXTUALLY, he and Rodrigo are soulmates.

We have 400 books plus three shelves of comics and manga in this flat.

Clearly I need to bring more books.

So the app I've downloaded for Mastodon was Tooty Fruity. Can I get it to notify me of new notifications? Apparently not. Hmm.

So apparently our shelf reorganisation makes @Ehlyah want to start at A and read through our bookshelves. All in favour say "@Ehlyah DO THAT ALREADY GEEZ".

Further to previous post: both our bunnies love a snuggle, but not all do. Hulk prefers certain parts of leaves and ignores the rest. Breakfast squeaks and honks a lot, while Hulk is virtually silent. Hulk will sulk if you do something she dislikes or if you leave e.g. for a week's vacation.

Tl;dr, bunnies are individuals and they take work. One does not just walk into a pet store, grab any bunny, and get their perfect pet.

So it's nearly Easter and you may want a rabbit. Remember:
1. They need attention and exercise.
2. They have unique personalities and preferences.
3. They chew anything and everything.
4. They're butt heavy. Support that butt when you pick them up.
5. They can be stressed to death.
6. Some shed a lot.
7. They need to eat constantly.
8. Non-reproducing females are prone to cancer if not spayed.
9. Don't suddenly change their food all at once: wreaks havoc on their digestion.

Talking random nonsense at wife, mentioned that today I was "too books to read". It... it's actually pretty apt... #ReadsTooMuch

Apparently my grandmother (who I lived with as a companion/carer for 3-4 years) misses me. She originally threw a fit about me being gay married and wouldn't talk to me, rang up a ton of family members to bitch about it. Apparently now she's talking more positively about it. I am... tentatively hopeful? I may be no longer disowned?
