@Oceanity I already tweet a lot, and I'm probably gonna toot a lot. haha
So I have 3 Android apps and Mastodon pulled up in Chrome AND saved to the launcher as its own miniapp and still zero notifications on my phone.
Not sure if phone or something with octodon.social itself? I don't know! Whyyyyyyyy
Hello hello, @Oceanity
@Vavassor Gotcha. Thank you for the reply!
@Zenwood Honestly just a joke. It's an emoji!
The cool part of having Mastodon featured on Vice et. al, is that suddenly I'm aware it exists. And folks are flooding onto the service.
The bad part is that means the trolls and "parody accounts" are also following. And that could potentially ruin the entire appeal of this as an alternative to Twitter. :/
BUT maybe it'll be more moderated. I dunno how it works yet. I've only been here a few hours!
Someone added a Trump account. Blocked on birdsite, blocked here. Blocked. Block block block 'til the weekend

This is looking promising!
@polymerwitch Seems to work for everything *but* notifications. It's early days though, for sure!
Now I'm curious if the webapp would have notifications on Android 6.
@alan_butler @CobaltVelvet Tusky works as long as you're not on Android 7.0
11t should work on 7.0 tho
Nope, no notifications for either app. Oh well.
@polymerwitch If octodon.social doesn't work out I'll gladly move to toot.cat
@sanspoint I'm a recovering former furry.
@bottitytto My wife has never used a C64 but she *really* wants a classic breadbox C64 for some reason.
I found myself wondering if there's a HDMI mod.
@bottitytto Battle Chess was so amazing! I think I played it more on DOS though? But those animations!
Has anyone made the joke that they "toot a lot" yet?
Since Tusky isn't giving me mobile notifications, I'm also gonna try out 11t.
@bottitytto "Wizard/Ultimate Wizard" was my favorite C64 game. Hands down!
@polymerwitch Selfies are affirming and confidence building and I will always stand for the right for people to take and share selfies!!
@bottitytto Bless you. My first video game was Pac-Man on Atari VCS!
