So um, any other transladies who really love cats and Nintendo out here in Mastodon land?

@seven5three I am one, though I'm not as into Nintendo things as I used to be -- darn thing called money.

@bottitytto Money's definitely a factor! But emulation brings classics to everyone. >.>

@bottitytto Not having any idea what, ah, generation you belong to but I used to post news on Zophar's Domain. :nerd:

@bottitytto Bless you. My first video game was Pac-Man on Atari VCS!

@seven5three I also played games on a Commodore 64 and helped moderate a BBS that my father ran. >_>

@bottitytto "Wizard/Ultimate Wizard" was my favorite C64 game. Hands down!

@seven5three YESS! Alien Syndrome is something I played with my mum, and we ended up also getting it for the NES later. Battle Chess was another my mum and I played. I think my favourite though, were the Wizardry series. I still love those tons and tons.

@bottitytto Battle Chess was so amazing! I think I played it more on DOS though? But those animations!

@seven5three We later got it for DOS, as well as Wizardry series, because after V, they didn't release them on C64. XD

I'd stay up wayyyy to late playing them.

@bottitytto My wife has never used a C64 but she *really* wants a classic breadbox C64 for some reason.

I found myself wondering if there's a HDMI mod.

@seven5three I'm sure there is, somewhere, given how avid lovers of old tech tend to also be hackers of new tech.
