How did NPR become the go to pre launch streaming site anyway?

Well that was an ugly, exciting, ugly-ass game.

1. Donovan Mitchell is ridiculously good. I understand Ben Simmons is going to win ROTY, but DAMN.

2. The Jazz need somebody else, like at least one player who can be relied on to score.

3. If Gobert does one thing each game in this series, and that thing is getting Steven Adams to foul out, the Jazz are winning the series.

4. Can't play Melo

On the other hand, if you are playing Jae Crowder in the playoffs you might not deserve to be in the playoffs.

watching Melo playing D in the paint is like watching a cement bollard try to dance the macarena.

I remember seeing John Darnielle solo at the Somerville theater, and it was a great show but he even said at the time something like "this kind of space isn't usually my speed".

I was going to rank the concerts I've been to but I realized it's really a ranking of venue more than anything. Most acts can put on a good show under the right circumstances.

I think of the sub par concerts I've been to.... Neko Case was admittedly burned out, and Rickie Lee Jones was a bizarre show where it seemed like she didn't want to be there, but the rest were all bad venue match. Mainly too big of a venue, or seated venue.

Regarding last night: I enjoyed the intense buzz but I do wish that when I ordered a whisky based cocktail the end product contained at least a 1:2 ratio of non whisky. And not just like 4 shots of Sazerac and a twist of orange peel.

Super exciting Fleche Wallonne this year, and hey, the stream I was on didn't even break down!
