I don't always drink beer, but when I do it's generally Peak Organic Fresh Cut. It's delicious, easy to drink, and always available in 12 packs in my neck of the woods. Everything else I really like seems to have spotty availability.

I think it's probably time I just really learned general ledger accounting in depth. Deep sigh.

@Neff
It's very nice. The main problem; I need to train myself to remember there are macro keys on the far left because I keep putting my hands in the wrong place.

But it is my far the most soothing keyboard I've ever used, and the combination of tactility and sound makes me want to write things. It is also full of silly LED tricks which really accomplish nothing but add some charm.

And it doesn't slide around on my desk, unlike my work keyboard.

Yeah it does seem like between Houston and Philly and Boston maybe we could be spreading the wealth to other cities.

@Neff
Correct. I hadn't thought about replacing the caps but the noise level is not really an issue at home. It's good to know if I want to replace my work keyboard at some point, though.

Also also this keyboard actually makes more noise than I thought it would, and given my tendency to attack the keys it's perhaps not the best fit for a quite office environment.

Also they aren't on sale for $40 any more. So there's that.

The primary issue with this keyboard is that now I have to go to work and use a crappy keyboard all day. I don't think I can quite justify buying one of these and then putting it in the ungentle hands of our IT department.

why do people do that thing where they upload 24fps movie clips to youtube as 60fps with some kind of vomit comet interpolation? Is it a copyright evasion thing or are they just weird perverts?

One issue I frequently have with the Marvel movies is that you have all these heroes with heterogeneous powers that gave them all kinds of interesting storylines and approaches in the comics. And then in the films it often ends up just being like "What flavor of laser or bullet to they fire". As much as I enjoyed Infinity War as film cotton candy, I did feel like it was particularly bad in this case.

I like the songwriting just fine but (like I am Very Far) it's an album that veers towards the maximal in terms of production and I just have never been convinced that a wall of sound is what the doctor ordered for lyrics of this complexity.

"In the Rainbow Rain" is slowly worming its way into my heart. It's still near the bottom of my Okkervil River album ranking, but it's above "I am Very Far" and I'm willing to continue to let the music ferment in my head.

Boy. You get the sense that we can concentrate our attention on the Eastern conference for the next playoff round. Golden State / Houston is happening.

I haven't used a keyboard with mechanical switches in a very, very long time and it reminds me of fiddling with the keys on glass terminals at my Dad's work when I was young. Something about the noise it makes.

Very glad that I went with the Cherry MX Reds on this keyboard. The actuation is actually a bit heavier than I expected and I can't imagine how heavy the other options must feel.

Yes I have pain in the ass preferences when it comes to keyboards. Great that I can get something this light and still have a quality mechanical switch that feels nice.

Not that the keyboard itself is light... oof. It's dense!

This new keyboard has an LED equalizer mode that reacts to ambient noise. Which my kids love, but also WHHYYYYYYYY

One of the fun things about console only games is that I can listen to the soundtrack endlessly without worrying that I'll burn out on it before playing the game. Because I'm not going to play it!

Currently the God of War soundtrack is on repeat, which is unfortunately a good fit for today's workday.
