@celesteh It occurs to me that error and forgetfulness are essential human traits that would stand in opposition to a 'perfect' never-forgetting system. I don't know much about block chains, but it would appear as something more useful for pan-optic control systems than freedom.
@CobaltVelvet @gargron basically all platonic solids are fine, so easter tetrahedrons, easter octahedrons, etc.
On Friday, we were making fresh observations for the #Mäanderungen project. Found some very particular zebra crossings (and a fantastic place to exhibit, so fingers crossed we'll get the permission).

@jsalvador @gargron I mean aren't secured DM systems such as Signal about end-to-end encryption, so they are capable of doing that.
@gargron @jsalvador and why 'no'? Perhaps its not currently possible because it's not been implemented, but why would it be technically impossible to encrypt DMs? Users would have private and public keys and they could be used to encrypt and decrypt DMs. Perhaps an ambitious undertaking, put certainly possible?
@gargron That little closed envelope icon may create a false impression of privacy, so it's always good to play with open cards and remind users that they shouldn't use this for sharing very sensible information.

If however circuits are always already bundles of lines, cell structures and lattice planes, individual entanglements perhaps commence.

English has plenty of options for Kugel: ball, sphere, orb, bowl, pellet, bullet, ...
@KnowPresent Obivously its not very creative, call it shallow, but it's quite accurate capturing the meaning even with long and nested sentences. A few years back and you could just use it to get a raw idea of the meaning. Perhaps it's only the to-english that works so well. I bet they threw some large NN at it,
We're finalising texts for the #Schwärmen+#Vernetzen catalog; because my text construction requires that each paragraph stays at exactly 108 words, I gave Google Translate a go - holy moly, that engine has become scarily good, you can almost copy + paste the output with only minor corrections. (We use proper translators for the other texts)

@saper Well, a hackish SVG munching, thrown together with some LaTeX and Tikz ;)
@brook It will be part of a printed catalog. It's six pages of around 160mm, as one zig-zag folded sheet, bilingual (this is test rendering from German front, the back has English), so the paths that you see are completed as you carry out the different possibilities of folding the paper.
