art installations at the studio outside front
I love the window installation version of in|fibrillae, when I happen to be around, and I see passersby interact with it. Like a kid telling their father that they should read about the piece, and they are happy activating the sounds. They have spend already quite a few minutes with the piece, and it's in a nice vicinity with the optical lens piece Kontakt. A huge difference from requiring people to enter an interior space.
Today I drilled the second indentation in the upper floor of Reagenz Ost, where two transducers will become outside ceiling speakers. I haven't developed the idea yet, but I think I will try to detect and freeze the nearby church bells which are a sonic landmark of this district. Like a spectral shadow perhaps that lingers on.
