I feel like the MIT PGP Public Key Server has been glitchy for a while-- I often get a timeout half the time when I try to do a search. Does it work reliably for y'all?
@schlink Never worked well for me when I used it. Changed the defaults a while ago though, using the best practice guide at riseup.net. Something about round-robin servers?
Recommend that (no link right now, sorry).
