Wow what a busy week! I am worried about the state of global stability, but the best I can do is make sure I have a bugout bag and a plan. Other than that it's a beautiful Easter weekend in my part of the world.

My morning saying: "Yesterday's bad is a stain on the present the future is a chance to wipe the stains away." In bolder terms, kick the days ass, and let's be nice to someone! Go get em'!

Any programmers/systems folk played with WEKA or CMU Sphinx, anyone want to collaborate? I'm going to solve the border crisis so we don't need the wall. It must hear, see, think, and report, in near real time. cs.waikato.ac.nz/ml/weka/ AND cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/

I just installed Tooter, a browser extension for adding Toot to Mastodon buttons to the web github.com/ineffyble/tooter

I think the community-buildling, "village"-centric aspect of this will turn out to be a terrifyingly effective accidental (?) social hack.

On an instance, while it's growing, there's a small enough group of people that you can safely get to know some people, and get seen, without getting lost in an ocean of millions. And following interesting people is good for *your* community, and not just yourself. It's great.

I've written 'toot', a very simple command-line utility to allow Mastodon posts to be sent from the command-line: npmjs.com/package/toot

What would be really cool is if I could "visit" the local timeline of another mastodon instance...somehow

aaahhh nothing like unwinding with a buco game!

I have a bad feeling North Korea is going off the chain, who else feels it? I just heard a news story saying an inside defector said Kim Jong Un is hell bent on completing his nuclear vision, including transcontinental balistic nukes. Someone feed that chubby guy some poison cheese. We be sendin' ships yo! nytimes.com/2017/04/09/world/a

This sucks. I bought a game there last month. GameStop looks into a potentially serious credit card breach engadget.com/2017/04/09/gamest

Wow interesting! Twitter shareholders will vote on turning the company into a cooperative owned by its users! businessinsider.com/twitter-sh

Can't believe today is the very last game at the Joe, and it'll always be the best barn out there if you ask me. I hope that Little Caesars Arena is just as amazing, and I can't wait to go to a game there.

Bobocop, the Bob Ross Bot is the coolest thing of my day I think 😀 totally makes me smile when I read them.

Isn't that fantastic? You can just push a little tree out of your brush like that. Little trees and bushes grow however makes them happy. From all of us here, I want to wish you happy painting and God bless, my friends. If you hypnotize it, it will go away. It's hard to see things when you're too close. Take a step back and look.

I finally pulled the plug and bought the pro license for mailbird, probably the best productivity thing I have done in a while. It's a great, affordable, software product for email. getmailbird.com/features/
