Feels like my #mastodon experience is slowly decreasing from its first boom.

@sapadian I guess it's the usual after boom effect. The first days were full of discovering mastodon, meeting new people and having conversations. Now all of that is getting slower.
I'll try to post more frequently even though I'm no over-sharer. It might help mastodon with content and expand my network too.
@0x11de784a I was like that on twitter. It was so much harder to engage in conversations. I have opinions on allot of things, the character limit and disjointed UI made it nearly impossible, at least for me, to engage with people. With Mastodon engagement is so much more rewarding.
@0x11de784a Yeah I mean it would more than quadruple there data storage costs, and the fact they are not able to make money is a driving factor. The writing is on the wall in my opinion.
@sapadian That 500 chars are really changing alot. I still wonder if twitter thinks about raising their limit sometimes. And how often it just get canceled out of technical reasons.
