@shug0 I'm thinking of spinning up an instance what specs does your VM or metal have? Just basics, CPU, memory, disk, OS? Do you have the data tier (PostgreSQL and Redis) on separate machines, are you load balancing at all?
@sapadian Hello, it's a great idea to try it out, at masto.raildecake.fr we have a laptop for server with this specs :
i7, 8Go DDR3, 250Go SSD & 600Go of HDD.
The power needed will depends of how many users you host. Don't embarass yourself with complex solutions like load balancing for now. There is few informations for setuping a instance here :
