Until now claims of the benefits of the #drug for certain conditions have been anecdotal. But the preliminary results of the UK government trial, started last year, suggest that 80 per cent of those taking part have derived more benefit from #cannabis than from any other drug, with many describing it as 'miraculous'.

Another friendly reminder:
Mastodon is awesome, but mastodon isn't an appropriate tool if you want private communications. DMs aren't actually private, they can be seen by instance admins and maybe by other people, it isn't at all secure.
Mastodon and GNU social aren't made for private conversations, if you want to have a private conversation there are many tools that are appropriate for that.
I suggest Tox, but Cryptocat and XMPP with OTR are also good. There are others but I have used those

@kaydub @PreppyDude I'm still tinkering with it a bit, but because of the way federation works (some would say doesn't work) it's not a direct replacement for twitter. For that same reason, it seems interesting for topic-based servers. Maybe more like IRC or even USENET?
For the record there are no co-founders of Mastodon. Not in a startup way (it's not a startup) nor in a development way (I started the project on my own)
