Upgrading my current PC would be a pain: if I were to get a new processor, since the AM3 architecture is obsolete, I would have to change the motherboard. Since my current motherboard is using DDR3 RAM I'd have to get new RAM as well. I think getting a powerful graphics card would lead to it being bottlenecked by the processor.
I think I'm going to keep it as it is, and get a new PC when I'll have the means to.
@Siphonay based on my recent attempts at building, it seems buying a new one is the easiest/cheapest way to get a good graphics card
@Siphonay source: 2 years of collecting parts and I still need a processor and ram. I hate money.
