It also frustrates me that my manager coaches me on my "soft skills". I worked for Apple Retail for almost 8 years, I KNOW! It's just hard when you're trying to read something at the same time someone is rushing you and talking in your ear. graaaahhh
@eloisa Yeah, this was because I was having a hard time reading the Windows help screen while someone was talking to me and needing a thing fixed right that second because they're too busy to wait.
@eloisa I also forgot to mention, this was over the phone with me remoting into their computer. Which is a stressful experience for me.
@salmon_cannon oh, shit! Yeah, I'd stress too, especially because I can't read and listen at the same time. I have to stop one of them. Or if I don't stop I do things slower, so screaming into my ears not gonna help either. I'm sorry you had to go thru this... *hugs, if wanted!*

@salmon_cannon sheesh! I dunno what this was about but I felt that rage. I mean, I get it. I was a clerk for years too and I still had to listen to someone whose diapers I could've changed tell me about basic stuff like active listening. I KNOW!!! D:
