Hey artists with other jobs to make rent... sometimes we compare ourselves to and our work to folks who do it full time or who can put in more hours... and sometimes we can be unkind to ourselves about it. Maybe it’s the extra time it takes us, the slower speed at which we improve, or the finished result. Maybe it’s the breaks we need or lack of energy.

As a GM for more than 130 children, I saw children whith no confindence, children with diagnoses (e.g. autism), children that didn't fit in at sports or at school - I saw them find themselves in roleplay. I saw them grow, find friends and a place to be. I saw them evolve and be happy and independent.
And that's where my heart really beats for larp. Right there. 💓

I enjoy viewing the posts over here after wallowing around in the other social media sites. For the moment, it feels like standing in an open meadow surrounded by forest, a cool breeze with the only sound from a small creek nearby.
The other sites tend to feel like I'm standing in the middle of a large city at rush hour as everyone curses out anyone that gets in their way.
I will enjoy this pleasantness for as long as it lasts. 🙂
