im currently in the middle of the dehumanising garbage pipeline the state calls trans healthcare and im just. never going to get hormones or any treatment or anything if im honest with myself. i know i dont fit their image of a True Trans and idk what to do

any recommendations for #lgbt #fantasy books? i really enjoy epic/high fantasy but most things in the genre just leave me starving for actual lgbt romance

@lopsigon considering the multiple data collection scandals we've had with established dating sites already, i guess facebook has very little to lose?

i just can't imagine users trusting facebook with even more sensitive information, but i know people will all the same :/

@starbreaker @jelle_dc my university actually does teach tech ethics, but it's a rather small part of any degree and taught pretty poorly. it's a requirement to graduate, but most only shoot for a passing grade, which means they can pretty much ignore it. i'm not entirely sure how to fix it, all things considered.

@starbreaker the amount of shitty men i know in CS whose opinions can be 100% attributed to no education outside of STEM makes me inclined to agree tbh. way too many dave rubin fans

all the advice lists i ever saw about running a d&d campaign always explicitly told you not to run time travel. being the kind of DM i am i saw that as more of a challenge than anything.

turns out they were right. every time a time loop or the present was contradicted because of how freeform d&d is i either had to patch it up, or... introduce another time loop. by the end i had 5 time loops, some recursive, and my players had completely lost track.

don't do time travel in d&d

ive been depressed for the last half a year or so but i think im finally clawing myself out of it. for the first time in what feels like forever i actually want to do stuff and learn and it feels really good
