@phoenix Main thing is Ada Palmer's "Too Like the Lightning": a wonderfully weird SF novel about a future where all geographic barriers have been broken down, so governments are more about philosophical affinity.

I've also been reading bits of Kevin Mitnick's "Art of Invisibility", but so far it's stuff I either already do ("lock your phone") or am not paranoid enough to do ("make yourself less traceable by having an unrelated 3rd party buy you a burner phone with cash") .
