Today's reason I am The Worst: I dismissed my child when he said, "what if someone won the Starbucks For Life contest but that person ALSO had an eternal life potion??"
He's mad because I forgot his rock-solid certainty that he will be the one to invent eternal life potions, so OF COURSE this could happen.

While getting dressed I find myself pondering a video game where you are a shoulder dragon with shoulder dragon sized problems. Sure, the wizard whose shoulder you ride on has some complex world-in-peril narrative to deal with, and every now and then she makes you do some weird mission that can only be accomplished by a tiny dragon, but mostly you're concerned with lazing around the place while she does research, stealing cookies from the cabinet, chasing the local rats and birds, accumulating a shoulder dragon sized hoard of shiny things, and so on.
It would be the most relaxing thing ever.
If you're new to Masto (or are old to it but still figuring it out) and you want to know how to sort out who to follow: One of my best methods is to find a good conversation, see who's saying things there that make sense, /and follow that profile/.
It's a vastly better algo than checking who's following you (assortment of rando space alien cats), soliciting suggestions (though that can work).
It also means that the best way to get followers /is to converse productively/.
