@u2764 Yeah, so they just drink it out of pumpkins and other fermented fruit. Like animals.

@Siphonay If you need a good excuse: "Thunk" exists in the context of lazily evaluated languages like Haskell, it's a computation that has not yet been evaluated.

@Siphonay Ah, yeah, that is quite a lot...well, at least it's not in the hands of Le Pen now.

@Siphonay Does the president actually have that much power in day-to-day politics in France? Around here, it's mostly a representative position plus some important, but rarely used powers - chief commander over the military, could veto laws, force new elections or choose not to accept a government. All of them are reserved for extraordinary situations.

@SmittenKitten No prolbem, I wish I had known it back when I was writing math homework in TeX, would've saved me some trouble...
BTW, a pretty comprehensive list is here: mirrors.ctan.org/info/symbols/

@Wootang Yeah, that's true. Studio IEMs are annoyingly flat for casual listening, you're chilling to a tune in traffic and basically have to turn it up too high because there's not enough bass.
But you'll still get the same experience as with Beats with e.g. AKG headphones that are half the price ;)

@SmittenKitten If you're looking for a symbol and don't know the LaTeX way to write it, check out detexify.kirelabs.org/classify, it's a ML classifier that lets you draw the symbol you want and gives you the closest matches.

@Wootang And if you want to do actual studio work, you need something with flatter frequency response, which just means that what you hear is close to the input signal, no boosted bass like Beats and AKG or strong highs like the Ortofon earplugs I have laying around (and don't use).
Although as a musician, it's less of a problem, because you're not the sound engineer.

@Wootang They're on the lower side of medium quality. You get the same quality from $40 Sennheiser or AKG headphones. But they're not insanely terrible, they isolate better than the Apple headphones (which are a crime to humanity) and sound better than most $20 headphones. The problem is more the value for money.
If you spend $120 or so, you'd also get Sennheiser HD25-II, which are "the" standard DJ/listening headphones for electronic music. Or comparable AKG, which tend to be more bassy.

@MikeGastin Back at you, I think we already briefly talked before :)

@Jessiscah @tiphra Hehe, is this about OpenMW? Been possible for a while now, but they're still improving it. (native AND 4k!)

Due to Rotational Velocidensity, compressed media files lose about 12 kbps per year.

(Can you imagine, though?)

@SmittenKitten I wanted to watch fidget spinner videos on YouTube yesterday to find out what the craze is about, but the people in every video were yelling at me, so I stopped. I've never had boobs yell at me, so that's another plus.

@spacekookie At least you can hear if the drive is healthy ;)
