@juliansimpson @HedgeMage I'm testing it and in fact I was completely wrong. search doesn't search profile text either, only the name or hashtags on your local instance. Although, that includes any toots pulled on to your instance from others because people follow those users. So some people outside your instance can search and find you by hashtag posts.
