that last bit I feel a version of almost every day now
(probably guilt because I jokingly imagined people becoming "polarized against vaccinations" at one point, as a result of not seeing the results of actual horrible things for several generations
and sometimes I feel like -- and this is delusional, I'm certain -- because I THOUGHT it, it ended up HAPPENING
