Frankly a part of the blame has to fall on Americana education for coddling the mindset. Most children have been brought with the "no hertz feelinz, u can achieve anything!1" mentality, so when they reach adult society and realize they can't have...what these "disfranchised" men want, their mental gears get thrown for a loop. They're willing to buy into any narrative that ensures that their worldview gets preserved, even if it involves putting all sorts of genies back into bottles.
@pzmyers He's pushing the same "You're a hero just for being you" narrative that Ayn Rand used to sell, but for manchildren who wouldn't be caught dead reading Rand for fear of cooties.
BTW: I know you have no control over ad placement, but I think it's hilarious that whenever I visit your blog on mobile I see ads for stuff like colloidal silver.
