In my archival work, I push the idea we should archive installation for complete provenance. Here is the DOOM installer running in javascript showing how long it used to take to unzip a 2.5MB of data. Phew.

@wilkie Does it archive the experience of trying all the sound blaster settings to get sound to work?
@pyry luckily the doom installer detects the correct settings. other things don't. especially if they require gravis sound or something. so in a way, yes.
