Why do I suddenly feel like Itanium's design has been vindicated by Meltdown and Spectre?
Can't suffer from out-of-order or speculative execution vulnerabilities if you can't execute out-of-order or speculatively, after all.
@bhtooefr or most GPU's which don't do this either. They just have a lot of 'threads' and accept that many of them might need to pause to wait for memory etc.
