Man I am getting VERY tired of feeling just fuckin' despondent every Sunday night.

also it's not morning, it's almost 4 PM.

Good morning, I have so many things i want to do today that it's very possible I will do none of them, which is what usually happens & I hate it

Quick reminder that Red Means Recording still hasn't been posted to Metafilter because I can't do it because he's my friend but somebody should because:

youtube.com/watch?v=VPRpS2P2RM

But the end result would be so handy! Such a good and useful thing to put into the world!

But writing tedious, fragile screen-scraping code is not my forte, especially given that I'm a Very Bad Programmer.

I am determined to keep using Mastodon! If I can!

A related thing I want to do is finish my Livejournal Archive/Re-host tool on Glitch. I've realized the way I want it to work, and although it will involve quite a bit of fiddling (because I'm bad at code) I'm pretty I can both get it to work AND make it useful.

Mmmm feelin extremely ill-at-ease today.

YO, since here is where I do my sadding these days, I got a real doozy of a case of the Sunday Sads! Fuckin', it's not great!

Talking to some friends elsewhere about my plans to play video games most of the weekend and they're like, lucky you, we can't play video games ever since having kids, and I'm like,

buddy,

Good morning I am freaked out on a personal and global level but really I just need to get some dang work done.

@joshmillard I have analogous feelings about music!

I do pretty much entirely electronic stuff out of necessity, but I have a deep aversion to sampling, mostly because it feels like it somehow makes the music less "mine."

And yet! I don't hold anybody else's music to this standard! I love genres that heavily use sampling, and I'm constantly blown away by people who do it creatively.

I'm very proud of this. Glitch and Airtable are wonderful tools, but I still had to brush WAY up on Javascript, and learn some basic Node and Jquery. It's nothing fancy but it will hopefully be a useful tool for writers who've submitted to my little zine.

Buying better plates last year was a VERY good idea.

This'll play better here anyway.

THE RINK IS OPEN AGAIN AND ITS SEVENTY DEGREES OUT,

Time to be an outside-goer

This morning as previously intimated I woke up feeling real bad! Then I checked my email, and I saw that I'd gotten a short but very nice comment on a piece of silly, sentimental fan fiction I wrote years ago.

I will be god damned if it didn't cheer me up CONSIDERABLY.

@signalnine Hey! That would actually be very cool. What's he interested in, these days?
