Dad’s funeral today, Saw a lot of people I haven’t seen for decades. Name-recalling nightmare.
One bloke I could not place (but certainly from the rugby crowd) said to me “Oh, wee Tom! You were a fucking arsehole of a child eh?”, and I instantly loved him, because, to be honest, I was.
