So are open source projects really more reliable and secure than corporate social media?
@j2bryson Not necessarily. In fact, most are less reliable and many are less secure. However, open source means that we are able to inspect the source code, so we don't need to take anyone else's word. Free software also allows us to tailor software to the public's need instead of being at the mercy of a for-profit company.
