Hi, Linux nerd buddies! I don't want acpid running on my system (systemd-logind and i3 are handling, respectively, suspend behavior and screen brightness for me already, and acpid break both if it's running at startup). I've disabled it through systemctl, but it keeps getting reenabled on updates. Is there any reason to keep the acpid package around at all? Is it just mostly obsolete?
