The version of "me" in my head rarely matches the hunk of bone and fat in real life.
I grew up 60 miles from Washington DC. This was my reality 20 years ago. It hasn't changed much. My dad has better internet on a Caribbean island than he does at home. This is reality for anyone not inside a city blessed with fiber and 4k.

I need to develop a side gig but lack good skills for such endeavors. I keep coming back to doing hardware replacements for people as I can read and follow ifixit.com directions and have the tools to do so. But that's risky if things go bad. Not sure if I want to take on computer repair/malware removal. Did it for years as a job and didn't love it then. But it's a skillset I have.
Selling everything in my house I don't want to move.
Tonight I spent 2 hours hanging out at T-Mobile in the phone with Verizon. Apparently they get real grumpy when you try to leave them and get all psycho-ex on you.
I now have one working phone and a date with Verizon's WinBack team at 9am when they open.
My desire to leave Verizon and go to T-Mobile is now a new life mission.
