@peroty why so? How does poetry fit into your life.

@jason It was my intro to writing in 7th grade. It was good I copied with life and rural life. I've grown away from it as I aged. Still love to hear it performed but I don't read it much.

@peroty I always hated poetry. I didn't get it. I still don't get most of it, but the pieces that resonate with me ring loudly.

I like searching YouTube for slam poetry or performance poetry.
