@oyasumi I guess I think this is how new communities oscillate around to norms... people state their preferences, dialogue ensues, pushing and pulling develops...
that's how it's gone on all the social media I've joined
@BradyDale I just think the push should be towards the administration of the instance you're on, if you think a rule should or shouldn't be in place. I strongly disagree with the idea that mastodon as a whole should have a single community guideline as that makes the whole thing pointless.
You have all the choices in the world to join or create whatever community you want.
