I'm glad I voted...anything that curtails the tories and in particular Mays authoritarian tendencies is a win.

Just wish that I and people like me had been awake for the referendum...could have avoided all of this...

So PM May has decided to call a snap general election! Now I'm not very political, as I tend to feel that it's the system itself that is broken and so I never vote.

I might be British born and raised, but I've always considered myself and my country a part of Europe.

So even though i hate the system, i'll be voting in June. Labour and the tories want a hard exit and Lib Dems want a soft one.

So I'll be voting Lib Dem...even if it's a wasted vote, at least this time I can blame other people...

So it's bizarre to me, that the act of dropping a nuclear bomb on something, has any shorthand at all...(nuke)

Surely, abbreviations and slang exist to make common phrases easier to say due to their high frequency of usage.

Contrast that with "nuking" something. An event that has happened precisely two times in active warfare.
