I wish the answer were "make our own internet" but it's *not happening*. I don't get to talk to my friends across the ocean via a handful of WAPs running clever mesh firmwares. We need to fix the internet we have. And I think that has to involve political change.
So here's the thing, I've really not been good at mastodon vs twitter, but also I've been terrible at focusing on anything I care about. I feel like my memory is very short and I can't really stay interested in even simple tasks. In the good news, though, I'm restarting my regular therapy tomorrow and am gonna be working with them on this specifically.

i am generally not interested in things about making MORE EFFICIENT (inorganic) cells, because as you said, area is not usually the big problem
but i am very interested in cheaper ways of making cells, and ways that permit more distributed and possibly more equitable manufacturing of them
i could see a co-op doing polymer cells a lot sooner than a wafer fab you know?

It doesn't work on everything, not even all websites using Font Awesome (you wouldn't believe how many ways people find to implement the hamburger...) but it occasionally pops up in hilarious places

It’s a degree of tech elitism that’s locked out the public. The typical computer user is not going to familiarize themselves with the command line. Meanwhile, point and click tools got the upper hand in the market
